Hello and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Susie Long and after 34 years flying with a major airline, I set up two local businesses, HOMECHECK and DELISH Catering.

HOMECHECK is a bespoke service that provides our clients with the reassurance of knowing that reliable and capable people are keeping an eye on their property when they are away. Based in Lightwater, Surrey, I run HOMECHECK with my husband Stephen Long, a former military pilot and safety consultant. After long careers working in the Army and aviation sectors, we both have a wealth of experience in safety and security and are DBS checked, well-presented, trustworthy, polite, providing a discreet, professional and friendly service.

A keen gastronome, I was fortunate in my aviation career to spend many years travelling the world and delighted in sampling the cuisine globally. Building on that passion, I took a number of catering courses in London and abroad and have cooked at various different events including being the chef on a transatlantic yacht and catering for private clients sailing around the Caribbean. I am now pursuing my culinary passions through DELISH - providing fresh, delicious dishes for a wide variety of small bespoke events.
